This painting was created using acrylic paint and inks, water colors, collage paper, colored pencils, acrylic inks, soft pastels and various glazes.
About This Painting:
I layer each piece without specific intentions, I begin to notice that they ‘emerge’ with different characteristics. Allowing them to reveal themselves in an organic way portrays my current interest in exploring the co-existence of contrasting qualities, such as structure and chaos, form and ambiguity, boldness and softness that arise naturally in both art and life, and specifically in this case, in nature.
Over a very long period of time, this painting may alter slightly in color and saturation due to the use of collage and various materials of an organic nature. I consider this ‘alive’ characteristic of the work to be part of the expression itself. For long term protection, I apply several coats of permanent archival varnish and also, with all original artwork, suggest keeping the painting out of direct sunlight.

**Only customers living in North America will have their shipping reflected at checkout. If you live outside of the U.S./Canada, contact me before purchasing and I will handle your purchase personally.
The painting is not framed; framing choices are up to the purchaser. The painting will be varnished and protected for the long term. I ship works on wood panel flat and very carefully packaged to protect it during transit. I do my best to ship within 3 days of your purchase.
