This painting was created using acrylic paint, water colors, collage, colored pencils, acrylic inks, soft pastels and various glazes.
About This Painting:
Part of a large group of studies, I created this painting during a period of time where I was developing new work. I begin many studies all at once, in the same way, with a limited palette and free, loose marks and brush strokes. As I layer each piece without specific intentions, I begin to notice that they ‘emerge’ as different things—some are botanicals, some are landscapes. This was a quick emergence as an abstract botanical and portrays my current interest in exploring the co-existence of contrasting qualities, such as structure and chaos, form and ambiguity, boldness and softness.

**Only customers living in North America will have their shipping reflected at checkout. If you live outside of the U.S./Canada, contact me before purchasing and I will handle your purchase personally.
The painting is not framed; framing choices are up to the purchaser. The painting will be varnished and protected for the long term. I ship works on paper flat and very carefully packaged to protect it during transit. I do my best to ship within 3 days of your purchase.
Sometimes shipping that is auto-calculated can vary from actual shipping costs, especially if you order more than one painting. If I find that your actual shipping cost substantially varies from the automated charge, then I will refund the difference to you.
