About This Painting: I have always been drawn to wetlands, and love exploring the enormous ecosystem they support. As I explore the balance between representation and abstraction, I attempted to push this one further toward abstraction. A couple of years ago, I did a small series of seascape studies (about 5”x 5”) and one of them was the basis for this larger painting. Sometimes it takes ideas a number of months or years to resurface and become an actual painting, and much of the time, it isn’t planned and it surprises me when it emerges.
Shipping + How This Painting Arrives: Only customers living in North America will have their shipping reflected at checkout. If you live outside of the U.S./Canada, contact me before purchase and I will handle your purchase personally. I ship paintings like this flat and very carefully packaged to protect it during transit. I do my best to ship within 3-5 days of receiving your order.
Sometimes auto-calculated shipping can really vary from actual costs, especially if you order multiple paintings that I can ship together. If I find that what you have paid for shipping exceeds the actual shipping cost + packaging expenses, I will refund the difference to you.
